Destination: Dolphin explores the vast distribution of the bottlenose dolphins around the globe and celebrates the unique connection between humans and these amazing animals. Take the plunge into the waters of Georgia Aquarium and see up close the distinct physical traits, biology, and personality of our dolphin pod. We will get not only a global look at the impact you have, but a personal connection with dolphins that will inspire you to navigate and chart your own course of conservation. Join us for the experience of a lifetime. The journey starts now, your destination is here at Georgia Aquarium.

Dolphin Theater seating is limited, and a seat reservation is required. You have the choice to guarantee your seats in advance with our $5 preferred seat, or you will be able to reserve your seat at no additional cost with our seat reservation system.

You will be able to reserve your seat for the dolphin presentation at no additional cost when you are on-site or by using our seat reservation system by clicking the Dolphin Seat Reservation button below on the day of your visit.

  • What happens if I miss the dolphin presentation I purchased preferred seating tickets for?

    It is recommended that guests plan ahead to enter the Dolphin Coast gallery about 15-30 minutes before presentation time, to allow time to enter the dolphin theater, find your seats and enjoy the educational dolphin presentation pre-show entertainment. If you miss your scheduled dolphin presentation, Georgia Aquarium cannot guarantee you a preferred seat in another dolphin presentation.

  • What happens if the dolphin presentation I purchased preferred seating tickets for is cancelled? Will I receive a refund?

    In the event that a dolphin presentation is cancelled, guests who purchased preferred seats will be issued a refund for the full cost of their preferred seating.

  • Where should I go when it is time for my dolphin presentation? Will there be a separate line for preferred seating?

    About 15-30 minutes before the scheduled dolphin presentation, you should make your way to the Dolphin Coast gallery entrance in the main Atrium, take the escalator upstairs and continue through the Dolphin Coast lobby until reaching the queue space for the dolphin theater. Follow signs for the separate line for preferred seating. No refunds will be issued unless the presentation is cancelled.

  • Is preferred seating available for all dolphin presentations throughout the day?

    Typically, preferred seats are available for purchase for all dolphin presentations throughout the day, although this may be subject to change. For the most up-to-date information on preferred seat availability, visit our website, the Georgia Aquarium app, or inquire at the information desk in our main Atrium.

  • Is there a designated area for preferred seating inside the dolphin theater? Will I be able to choose my seat?

    A certain number of seats in the dolphin theater are designated as preferred seating. The preferred seating is a VIP area directly above the splash zone in the center of the Dolphin Coast theater.

  • Can I purchase preferred seats for more than one dolphin presentation?

    Yes. You may purchase preferred seats for as many dolphin presentations as you would like. You will need to make a separate purchase for each dolphin presentation you would like to attend with preferred seats.
